# Điều 3. Nguyên tắc áp dụng các phương pháp quan trắc môi trường

1\. Việc áp dụng các phương pháp quan trắc môi trường phải tuân thủ theo các phương pháp được quy định tại Thông tư này và các quy chuẩn kỹ thuật quốc gia hiện hành về môi trường.

2\. Phương pháp tiêu chuẩn quốc tế, khu vực hoặc của quốc gia khác được chấp nhận áp dụng nếu có độ chính xác tương đương hoặc cao hơn các phương pháp tiêu chuẩn quy định tại Thông tư này.

3\. Các phương pháp quan trắc môi trường quy định tại Thông tư này được sửa đổi, bổ sung hoặc thay thế thì áp dụng theo các phương pháp mới.

4\. Chương trình quan trắc môi trường có các thông số chưa được quy định về kỹ thuật quan trắc tại Thông tư này thì phải áp dụng các phương pháp tiêu chuẩn quốc gia hoặc quốc tế.
